Ludhiana, May 02 (ANI): Parents of students studying in different schools staged protests against respective school managements on Monday. The parents alleged that schools were charging a very high fee as well as annual charges. Even though Deputy Commissioner Ravi Bhagat has directed private schools to reduce development charges by 30 percent and hike fee only by five percent, some schools are not implementing the orders. The protests began at 6 a m and continued till 1.30 p m, causing traffic jams and commuter inconvenience.
