Students in Bihar qualify JEE Main, but fail in Inter Council Exam

Patna: Students in Bihar have alleged heavy irregularities in the Results of Intermediate Examination 2016, conducted by Bihar State Inter Council. Many students protested outside the office of Inter Council. The protest however turned violent and police had to use force to disperse students.

Many of gathered candidates complained that there have been irregularities in the evaluation of answersheets and results. Some even claimed that they scored decently in JEE Main Examination, conducted by CBSE, but somehow failed in Intermediate Exam. One such student had scored 222/360 in JEE Main, but failed in Intermediate because her score in Physics was merely 16.
