Congress workers create ruckus as Anantnag by-election counting begins

Anantnag (Jammu and Kashmir), June 25 (ANI): Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti is leading in the first round of by-election counting in Jammu and Kashmir’s Anantnag district today. During the counting of votes, Congress workers created a ruckus in the counting hall, alleging that all electronic voting machines (EVM) had been changed and were without labels. The People’s Democratic Party (PDP) has got 1826 votes, Congress 504 and National Conference (NC) 301. The counting took place at Government Degree College. The Anantnag by-poll result would declare the fate of Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti, seeking entry to the state Assembly.
