Udaipur (Rajasthan), June 25 (ANI): In a shocking incident which has surfaced from Rajasthan’s Kasotia village, a tribal couple was allegedly mobbed, stripped and paraded naked by the locals as punishment for infidelity. The torture did not end there as the couple was kept tied up in the same position for two days. It is being reported that it is a customary practice in the village which is meted out by the Panchayat as punishment. The incident took place on June 20 and it only came to light after pictures of the victims appeared on the social media. Thereafter the police took cognizance of the insensitive act and are investigating the same. As per the latest reports, 13 people have been arrested in the case.
