Tripura faces severe fuel crisis due to dilapidated condition of national highway

Tripura, June 26 (ANI): Long queues were noticed outside fuel filling stations as Tripura is reeling under severe fuel crisis. The supply of essential items, including petroleum products, to the state has been severely affected over the past one month following poor road condition of NH44 in Assam-Tripura inter-state border following heavy rain and landslides. Taking advantage of the crisis, petrol is being sold at double price in the black market. People complained that they have to wait for several hours in the sun outside fuel filling stations and which is hampering their normal life.
