Srinagar, June 28 (ANI): Cornering the Mehbooba Mufti-led government over the deteriorating security situation in the state, the National Conference (NC) MLAs staged a walkout from the Jammu and Kashmir Assembly on Tuesday. The legislators of the opposition party demanded a statement from the state government regarding the steps being taken to ensure the safety of people. National Conference MLA Devinder Singh Rana said the protection of the state is government’s responsibility. Eight CRPF personnel were martyred and 24 others injured in an encounter in Pampore earlier on Saturday.
