‘I stand by my statement’, says prime witness in Salman Khan poaching case

Jaipur, July 28 (ANI): Harish Dulani, a driver and key witness in the Chinkara poaching case against Salman Khan, on Thursday, maintained that he stands by his statement, adding that the Bollywood star did shoot the endangered gazelle. He said that the statement given by him under the Section 164 of the code of criminal procedure (CrPC) is true and he stands by it. He alleged that his father had earlier received threats and said he wanted protection. He also added that he is not an absconder. Meanwhile, Rajasthan Home Minister Gulab Chand Kataria said that driver Harish Dulani had never asked for any kind of security in last the 14 years, adding that if he wants it now then it would be provided.
