Peace returns to Srinagar, curfew lifted after 17 days

Srinagar, July 26 (ANI): After 17 days of shutdown and protests in Srinagar, normalcy has been restored to an extent here on Tuesday. The curfew which had been imposed from past two weeks has been lifted in the summer capital of Jammu and Kashmir. The valley had erupted with protests in the wake of the killing of Hizbul Mujahideen terrorist Burhan Wani by security forces on July 8 in Jammu and Kashmir’s Anantnag district.
