Suresh Prabhu inaugurates India’s first ever ‘Green Train Corridor’

Chennai, July 24 (ANI): Union Railway minister Suresh Prabhu on Sunday inaugurated India’s maiden `green train corridor’, a 114km Rameswaram-Manamadurai stretch, which is said to be free from human waste discharged from trains. Speaking at the occasion, Prabhu said the infrastructure growth of India will remain incomplete without development of railways. He further said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi has a great vision of making railways a profitable and cheap mode of transport for the people.
