Dharamshala, Aug 27 (ANI): The Central Council of Tibetan Medicine (CCTM), the premier governing body of traditional Tibetan medicine organized a handing-over ceremony between the outgoing fourth executive members and the newly elected fifth executive members of the Council in Dharamshala. The inclusion of Sowa-Rigpa within the definition of Indian System of Medicine in 2010, by amendment in the Indian Medicine Central Council Act, 1970 has been a remarkable achievement of Tibetan medicine. It has hugely amplified the awareness on Tibetan medicine and improved the breadth of Tibetan practice of healing.
