SAARC Summit in Islamabad to be postponed, confirms MEA

New Delhi, Sep 28 (ANI): The Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) Spokesperson Vikas Swarup confirmed on Wednesday that the 19th SAARC Summit to be held in Pakistan in November has been postponed. Asserting that the event will be postponed since four nations have decided not to attend the summit in Islamabad, he added that according to the rules of the SAARC summit, if even one head of state or government decides not to participate, it has to be postponed.
