Terrorism not a solution says Shaukat Ali Kashmiri at United Nations General Assembly

Geneva (Switzerland), Sep 27 (ANI): Speaking at the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA) on Monday, Chairman of the United Kashmir People National Party Shaukat Ali Kashmiri, raised the issue of Kashmir saying that India has a locus standi on Kashmir. He described in detail the history behind how Kashmir rulers wanted to keep Kashmir free and had a standstill agreement with Pakistan as well as India. He said that Pakistan needed to comply with the resolutions it signed regarding Kashmir stating that it never did. Shaukat Ali added that India has a legal stand regarding Kashmir and that terrorism is not a solution and called on Pakistan to step forward and review its policies.
