Assam, Feb 24 (ANI): Along with the rest of the country, Maha Shivratri was celebrated across Assam with much gaiety and religious fervour. Long queues were witnessed outside the historic Umananda and Sukleswar temple in Assam’s Guwahati city. Moreover, hundreds of devotees from different parts of India thronged famous Shiv Mandir in Garmur, Jorhat to make offerings to lord Shiva.
