Kalaburagi (Karnataka), Apr 30 (ANI): A positive initiative has been taken by the people of Nilor village in Karnataka’s Kalaburagi district, where they are closing non-working open borewells in the village as they pose a threat to the children. Reportedly, the initiative was taken after atleast five girls died by falling in the open borewells of Belgaum district. Every year several cases of children getting trapped in borewells are being noticed.
