BIT Patna Sports meet begins with athletic fervour

Sporting and athletic activities are important components in the growth of individual mentally and physically. It rejuvenates the person’s capability to take on his day’s work more efficiently. Such activities emancipates mind and relaxes body.

With that spirit BIT Patna campus started conducting its athletic meet to embolden the personalities of its students. This has become an annual extravaganza since the inception of the institute four year back. The credibility and dedication of department of physical education and sports in organizing this event is unquestionable.

This year’s annual event began today with the unfurling of BIT’s flag and release of balloons by the honorable director Dr K.K Srivastava .there was march fast by the four contingents of the institute(EEE,ECE,CSE,CPIM) led by institute captain R.Satish(boys),steffy santosh(girls).director was overwhelmed by the spirit and enthusiasm of the students. All the participants taken oath under the leadership of R. Satish that we will play with true sportsmanship for the honour of our Institute and glory of athletics.

The three day 4^th Annual Athletics Meet Will concludes on 7^th February with prize distribution at closing ceremony. The coming two days will be filled with enthusiasm and energy radiating from the performances of students.
