Darbhanga: In a unique move, Bihar Government has returned over 150 metric tonnes of wheat back to Food Corporation of India. The grains were rotten and were supposed to be supplied to poors via Public Distribution System.State Food Minister Shyam Rajak said that the grain delivered was unfit for consumption.
The Government also claims that less than half of the quantity demanded was given to Bihar and that too was rotten and could have lead to serious diseases.The wheat was supplied from FCI godown at Darbhanga.
