Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar has come out in support of Right to recall and Right to Reject as demanded by Anna Hazare.
He however advocated some changes into it.He said that this idea emerged during JP Movement.He said that
“if there is even a little bit of scope, legislation can be brought for the purpose.”
Kumar’s statement has come a day after the Chief Election Commissioner SY Qureshi formally disfavored Anna’s demand for Right to Recall telling that it would destabilize the country.He said: “Demand of right to recall and right to reject will destabilise the country as wherever there is discontent, people will start recalling and it could be misused, particularly in States like Kashmir and North-Eastern States where people already feel alienated.â€
