West Bengal CM Mamta Bannerjee recently revealed a very interesting incident of her Childhood in her memoir “My Unforgetable Memories”. She once Failed in Mathematics because of the treachery by one of her trusted friends.
Mamta reveals that she completed her papers 15 minutes before time. One of her friend was continously asking her for help, so she agreed to change the answersheet and she started writing on her friend’s answer sheet.
The Bell rang and the exam got over. She wrote in the book, “However, when the results came out I passed in all subjects except mathematics.” Later when she applied for Re-evaluation, it was found that her friend crossed all her answers while she was writing her friend’s paper.
