Delhi Police claims to have solved over 90 percent of the crimes against women in the year 2013.  According to the sources, over 90% of crime have been solved within week. However the angles in the claims  are disputed enough.
According to Delhi Police sources, the accused were arrested within one week in 125 out of 138 rape cases, 369 out of 401 cases of molestation and 253 out of 283 cases of eve-teasing.
The figures were for a period between January one and March 15.
“The expeditious arrest of criminals in cases of rape, molestation and eve-teasing is expected to be a deterrent for criminals. It also shows that priority is being accorded by Delhi Police towards providing a secure and safe environment for women in the capital city,” a statement said.
