Pramod Vakacharla, a resident of Nellore in Andhra Pradesh has topped the JEE Main 2014 Examination by scoring 355 marks out of 360.
The second position has been occupied jointly by Krishlay Raj from Jharkhand and Mohammad Akram Khan also from Andhra Pradesh by scoring 350. Akram hails from from Luxettipet in Adilabad district and lives in Kothagudem in Andhra Pradesh.
Both Akram and Pramod were batchmates at Narayana Sri Chaitanya IIT Academy, Vijayawada. Both want to join IIT-Bombay after clearing the JEE (Advanced).
It is to be noted that this is not the All India Rank, which would be calculated by considering the 40% weightage or normalized Scores in Class 12 Examination.
