Political activists pay homage to Sri Lanka war crimes victims in Chennai

Chennai, May 18 (ANI): Political activists in Chennai paid homage to victims of war crimes in Sri Lanka and demanded justice for them.

The U.N. Human Rights Council has voted to investigate war crimes in Sri Lanka, saying then President Mahinda Rajapaksa had failed to do so properly. The slogan shouting protesters demanded separate homeland for Tamil people in Sri Lanka.

Tamil Nadu is dominated by ethnic Tamil population and they have affinity with their brethrens in Sri Lanka.
