New Delhi, June 25 (ANI): Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis on Thursday called on Prime Minister Narendra Modi at his office. The meeting comes in the wake of controversies surrounding Maharashtra Cabinet Ministers Pankaja Munde and Vinod Tawde.
Opposition in the state has accused Women and Children Development Minister Pankaja Munde of flouting norms while clearing purchase orders. However, Munde has dismissed the charges of corruption levelled at her by the Congress, maintaining that she has not violated any rules. Maharashtra Education Minister Vinod Tawde is also entangled in a fake engineering degree case.
