New Delhi, June 09 (ANI): External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj on Tuesday while addressing a media press conference on International Yoga Day said that people’s participation is not mandatory in the events. Swaraj added that the central government would issue postal stamp, Re 100 and Re 10 coins to mark the day. The 69th Session of the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA) has adopted and declared June 21 as the International Day of Yoga. The main significance of the UN declaring an International Day is to focus the attention of the international community on the topic of the day, and to encourage activities among the member states of the United Nations to commemorate the day.
