Shimla: Himachal Road Transport Corporation has made necessary arrangements for the management of buses on Diwali festival to facilitate the commuters and staff of the Corporation.
A spokesperson of the Corporation disclosed here today that local buses would not be operated in each unit after 4:00 PM on 11th November, 2015. The bus service having scheduled departure time after 4:00 PM would be advanced in such a manner that the last service departs around 4:00 PM.
As far as the long route buses are concerned, the maximum bus services would be clubbed by each unit officer in such a manner that facility was available to the public as well as the buses are not plied empty. Each Divisional Manager, will ensure that at least one night service was available from the important places in the Division to Delhi, Chandigarh, Haridwar and Shimla to important places in Division.
He said no Volvo bus service would be operated from the State to other locations on Diwali.
Spokesman said that all operation would be restored on 12th November, 2015.
