Nainital (Uttarakhand), Dec 26 (ANI): A seven-day long Winter Carnival was organised in Nainital to promote culture of the state and increase tourist footfall in the region. Cultural performances, adventure activities and different competitions were also organised in the carnival. The event was inaugurated by Uttarakhand Chief Minister Harish Rawat. The festival will witness musical, dance and other cultural performances and contests, as well as a string of activities. These include boating, trekking, paragliding, a photography contest, a mountain biking race and a roller skating show.
