Exiled-Tibetans take out candlelight vigil against Chinese oppression

Dharamshala (Himachal Pradesh), June 27 (ANI): To mark the International day in support of victims of torture, hundreds of exiled-Tibetans held a candlelight vigil in Himachal Pradesh’s Dharamshala. The protesters recalled the torture of victims and the deteriorating situation of Tibet. The protesters demanded the early release of Tibetan prisoners under the Chinese oppression. The protesters also condemned the role of Chinese authorities over Tibet. The event was jointly organized by the Tibetan Political Prisoners’ Movement, Students for a Free Tibet, Tibetan Youth Congress and Tibetan Women’s Association.
