Udhampur/ Pahalgam/ Jammu (J and K), June 27 (ANI): Security forces personnel are keeping their best foot forward to ensure that the much-awaited Amarnath Yatra begins in a smooth and unhindered way. The administration has also made proper arrangements at the base camps and ‘yatri shivirs’ for the convenience of pilgrims. Jammu-Srinagar Highway is also being watched carefully. The yatra, which begins on June 29, is an annual Hindu pilgrimage to the holy shrine of Lord Shiva. Earlier, the Jammu and Kashmir Government had urged people for mass participation, assuring them not to worry with the crisis along border regions.
