Exiled Tibetan NGOs protest against Chinese Premier Xi Jinping

Dharamshala (Himachal Pradesh), Oct 18 (ANI): The five leading Tibetan Non-Governmental Organisations (NGOs) in exile held a joint press conference in Dharamshala to mark their protest against Chinese Premier Xi Jinping’s oppressive rule in Tibet. People in large number gathered to protest against increased censorship, violation of basic human rights and the denial of freedom of religion and the right to study the Tibetan language. NGOs like Tibetan Youth Congress, Tibetan Women’s Association, Students for a Free Tibet, National Democratic Party of Tibet and Gu Chu Sum (an association of former Political Prisoners of Tibet) were gathered for the joint press conference. The members of the NGOs will continue to strongly protest against the Xi leadership in years to come until freedom is achieved in Tibet.
