Fringe outfits begin anti-Valentine’s Day protest

Chennai (Tamil Nadu)/ Ahmedabad (Gujarat), Feb 14 (ANI): To protest against the Valentine’s Day, the Hindu outfits took a different step rather than hassling lovebirds, the cadres made marriage of a dog and a donkey in Tamil Nadu’s Chennai on Wednesday. According to the Hindu outfit they are opposing the western culture and not love. Meanwhile in Ahmedabad, Bajrang Dal members protested against V’day by threatening the lovebirds for immediate marriages. Later, the couples were detained by the police. Valentine’s Day is celebrated every year on February 14 in the memory of St. Valentine. It is recognised as a significant cultural, religious, and commercial
celebration of romance in many regions around the world.
