Governor deliberately gave 15 days to BJP to prove majority by breaking parties: Ghulam Nabi Azad

Bengaluru (Karnataka), May 18 (ANI): While addressing a press conference in Bengaluru, Congress leader Ghulam Nabi Azad said that 15 days given to BJP by the Governor to prove majority is a planning to break leaders from other parties. He said, “We informed the Governor that we have majority of 117 and gave him the list of MLAs and asked him to invite us and we will prove the majority and BJP does not have more than 104 but unfortunately, BJP was invited without even establishing their majority”. He further added, “No governor in the Indian history has given two weeks to any party to prove the majority. The maximum time given was one week. In number of cases, CMs were given 2-3 days. But here in Karnataka, BJP is given 15 days without having majority. This means that they were deliberately given this much time to break the political parties”.
