Bihar Board’s Hindi Exam cancelled after Question Paper leaked by mistake

Patna: Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB) today cancelled the examination of Hindi Paper 1 scheduled to be held today, after the questions of this paper were distributed to examinees yesterday mistakingly. The Paper 1 of Hindi was for those, who had opted it as their second language. Other examinations would be held as per schedule.

The incident happened on March 21, when the question papers of Hindi Paper 1 were distributed to examinees instead of Urdu paper, at Surya Narayan Singh Yadav Inter College in Purnia. The mistake came to light only after 10-15 minutes of the examination during which many candidates had started attempting the Hindi paper.

This latest incident of negligence comes less than a week after Bihar suffered nationwide humility when some news channels aired video of mass cheating by students with support from parents, during the class 10 examination.

Over 600 Students have been expelled and over 900 people arrested following the national outcry, making it one of the largest such action against unfair means during exam in the country.
