Moga Molestation: Staff of Orbit Aviation to go on Orientation Course

Moga: Punjab deputy chief minister Sukhbir Singh Badal on Saturday ordered the Orbit buses to go off the road with immediate effect and asked the company to send its bus operating staff on orientation course.

He added that no vehicles would ply until the course was completed. Victim’s Uncle said that the company must shutdown and all the permits and licenses of the company must be cancelled.

AAP leader Bhagwant Mann said that all permits and the track-record of all staff must be checked and a case must be registered against the director of the company.

Meanwhile, on May 2, several trains were delayed in various parts of Punjab on Saturday after Congress workers staged a ‘rail roko’ protest against the “deteriorating” law and order situation and “tardy” procurement of wheat.

Punjab’s Congress unit chief Partap Singh Bajwa along with party workers squatted on the Amritsar-New Delhi railway track at Sirhind and protested against the alleged “lawlessness” in the state.

The protesters sat on railway tracks from 12 noon to 1 pm and raised anti-government slogans during their agitation.
The ‘Rail Roko’ protest was also staged by Congress workers in Ludhiana and Patiala.
