There has been reports that Punjab Deputy CM Sukhbir Singh Badal is the owner of Orbit Aviation. It is only partially true. He is actually a shareholder in the company.

Orbit Aviation Private Limited has 4 Active Directors / Partners which include Satyajit Majithia Singh, Gurmeher Singh Majithia, Mohd Jameel, Mohammad Rafiq, according to Corporatedir.com.

According to the Registrar of Companies (RoC) documents, Sukhbir now holds shares in Orbit Aviation in three different ways: 5,000 direct shares, about 2 crore shares through his hospitality firm Orbit Resorts and 41 lakh shares through his media firm called G-Next Media Private Limited.

Orbit Aviation also operates air flights. It has three aircraft — an eight-seater Cessna 525 (which has been grounded), an eight-seater Super King Air B200 and a Bell 429 helicopter.
